Poor service, average cuisine... Having booked a table for 2 persons at 8pm, we decided to arrive at 7:40pm and take advantage of the restaurant bar for pre-dinner drinks which did not suit the bar or serving staff at all. We were given menu's and at 7:45 quite rudely pursuaded to place our order. The recommendation of wine was poor so we chose our own but were then rushed to our table, only to find that we were then waiting which a table of 6 and a further table of perhaps 7 were served. The food was average (and we had heard great reviews of the place prior to booking) and we actually received our main course selections alongside our starters - NOT AT ALL IMPRESSED and I have to say the second table of 2 that dined alongside us seemed very un-impressed with the place too. The decor is very aged and the whole place looks in need of a make-over. Would not recommend this restaurant for anyone considering it in the future.
