general standards are fair.however there are some 'special offer rooms' (no. 20 to highlight one)where the only view is of the three other sides of a 'courtyard' of which the main feature is a fire escape, the windows have to be kept closed as there is a constant noise of machinery, and this room can get over warm especially at night. another downside at this hotel is that there can be a wait of upto 30 minutes between courses at dinner. there are no guest packs in the room, so contact with reception, even for minor pieces of information is necessary. would I go there again? well it would not be my first choice of accommodation in this area
