Lynmouth is fab. Even in peak season it is not spoilt and has plenty to offer, sadly thats not the case with the Bath hotel. The decor is dated and tatty . Lynmouth yes the Bath hotel no.

Good Points: maid service every day Bad Points: no shower in the bath room General Review: Friendly staff,no lift in the hotel so not really suitable for disabled.limited car parking, you can park out on the main road but you must either move your car before 10.00am or pay to park after this time.Excellant position on sea front with good views of the harbore.

We recently had a couple of days away at the Bath Hotel in Lynmouth. It is not the best place to stay in Lynmouth, while the location near the harbour was good the hotel was quite disappointing. The decor was dated, a little tired and had obviously seen better days. Breakfast was okay, we ate out in the evenings. Lynmouth itself and the surrounding coast and countryside is dramatically stunning to say the least and well worth a visit. We are planning to return in the Autumn to do some walking but we may well decide to stay elsewhere.
