My Sister & I booked our Christmas Lunch at the Dovecote,as I had eaten there on previous occasions from their normal menu & the Carvery. But on Christmas day they really excelled themselves, service was unhurried but not slow, attention to detail of the table setting was lovely, eg tealight, Ferrero Roche chocolates on a tiny dish, a cracker each, even a Christmas card handwritten personally to us. The meal was 5 courses, each course was perfectly cooked. Service was helpful & everyone was most polite. Everything in the room ran smoothly, it was a lovely experience ~ we will definately go back there again . HighlyRecommended
