We were a party of six, booking three rooms. We were all delighted with the quality of the rooms and service provided, at a very reasonable price. Would highly recommend the Cadogan Arms, Thanks, Rod Ashworth & friends

I went to see my son home from a tour of Afghanistan and we came to The Cadogan Arms for a meal I had duck with mash potato, the duck was like rubber and the mash was like slop a bit like the potato you used to get in the packets that you added water to, the taste was disgusting and at £14.50 I was not at all impressed then when I went to pay the bill and was asked if I wanted to leave a tip I said no and was asked if everything had been alright I said it was not and explained about the meal to which she said oh I am sorry. So if you want to go there for a meal don't have the duck.

Our first visit was in Nov for a Sunday lunch, first impressions were it was very clean toilets immaculate and food acceptable, all that youd expect from a newly reburbished establishment. The Dec visits I found the food served up could pass as a childs portion, and the wait between main and sweet course was far too long - especially as they were not busy The next time was just for an evening drink, (Crisps and nibbles are unavailable) and the cold leather bucket type seats most uncomfortable for an evening session. You expect a pub on a cold winters evening having deep comfortable armchairs and a roaring fire to snuggle down and sup your tipple - there is a fire it seems but it wasnt alight. New years Eve nothing was alight - IT WASNT OPEN ! ! !

Although I was never a regular to the pub before its closure in 2005, the newly opened, newly refurbished Cadogan Arms is a friendly, relaxed and calm pub. Today was my first visit to the pub, ideally located at the end of my street, which opened publicly last Tuesday. They support the local economy and they're prices seem reasonable. It was generally a visit to view the restaurant, experience the atmosphere and to see if it was a nice as people were saying, and I must reassure that it is that nice. The staff are friendly, the pub is immaculately clean and it felt very welcoming upon entering. They have the most amaing toilets I've ever seen, with individual hand towels available for all users, soap, moisturising cream, deoderant and body spray. The pub in itself is open plan, which makes use of the entire building. As soon as we walked in we were welcomed with a smile by waiting bar staff and were served quickly, politely and all our questions answered. There is also a wall mounted television where we were able to watch the kitchen staff work. Although I'm not normally one to frequent a pub, this would be a place I would visit regularly and recommend to friends.
