I was in a party of 8 who dined at the Royal Horsehshoes, Waltham on 10th December 2007. Every one of us had a wonderful night....the food was superb, the portions were huge, the service was practically the best we'd ever encountered, the landlord/lady were friendly, helpful, attentive - indeed faultless and the price was extremely reasonable! I would whole-heartedly recommend this pub to anyone who was looking to dine out. 4 of our party are subsequently going back on Christmas Day for dinner....says it all really - and if I wasn't already committed elsewhere on that day, I would be joining them too!
