Arrived after a ride out with 8 other bikers felt hungary and decided to drop in on the Moon & Stars. It was about 1645 and I noticed that food was up to 1600. I asked if there was food and got a positive answer. My wife and walked in and was greeted politely by the land lady. Our meal was superb and would be only too pleased to reccomend this Pub to anyone. Thanks for the lovely meal!

Excellent cosy country pub with usually very good food and lots of good local walks. We go there every few weeks for Sat or Sun lunch and have planned our wedding recption there in a few weeks! The owner/chef used to be at the more or less local Bull which boasts of its Michelin award on the back of his time there. (It's not Michelin starred on anything - just included in the good food guide). Truth is that the Bull's grub is not nearly as good as the M&S and nor is the atmosphere. Highly recommend a visit!
