Landlady come sometimes appear 'dour' and the surroundings may not be appear 'glamorous' but we like to drink here on occasions and indeed, we held our wedding reception here 6 weeks ago. For this the food was wonderful and plentiful all for £10 a head. The staff are friendly and the landlady put in a lot of time and work to make our evening go well.... and she did it with a smile! :-D Unfortunately as children under 14 are not allowed in we haven't tried the every day food.
