During our nights stay there we were woken up by the fire alarm at 3.30 in the morning, which was set off by the manageress and her friends smoking downstairs, and who then continued to talk (comprised mostly of swear words) really loudly, and listen to music, again, really loudly. There was no apology from her, who even had the cheek to say 'it's a good job the alarm's so sensitive'. The mattress was the worst I've slept on, the springs had made indentations in my skin the following morning, and many of the pillows smelt a bit suspect.
We would have left, but for complicated reasons could not go anywhere else.
