new ownership recently, we called in Friday night [fish&chip night].a very warm welcome by staff and landlady,a friendly atmosphere and probably the best cod & chip ever!served piping hot and very quickly.plenty of seating in dining area or take away service available.can't wait to try sunday roast and other menu options. WELL DONE DEBBIE.

squirrels bar has recently changed ownership,we were greeted very warmly by bar lady and there was a friendly atmosphere the bar.as it was fish&chip night we ordered cod,which was served soon after ordering and was equal if not better than any fish we have ever tasted,the chips were also above the usual standard of restaurant chips and generous portions.a fish takeaway is available each Friday DON'T MISS IT!!
