I visited this shop and asked for a hand and spring of pork (shoulder) and was very happy that the butcher was so pleased to be asked for 'one of the best cuts of pork, but no-one knows it' He boned it for me while I waited, and it was the most succulent piece of meat we had had in a very long while.I will certainly go back-he knows how to 'do' meat!

We found this terrific little shop quite by accident, having just gone for a drive. We purchased stilton cheese (amazingly tasty) and a Minted Lamb pie (the meat was tender and the flavour wonderful!) as well as a couple of other items for a little over £10. Absolute bargain. It takes almost an hour to get to Haddenham from where we live, but we'll certainly be going again.

Nice welcome, and when I asked for some pork, I was asked which cut, leg, loin, belly, hand and spring-Yes! I said,-'It's nice to see someone who knows the best joint!' We bought sausages and cheese as well, after trying out the cheese first. Excellent service, the meat was gorgeous-but I did cook it properly! We'll definitely shop there again!
