I suffer from epilepsy and aspergers syndrome. I also have learning disabilities and did things before discovering what epilepsy really meant. I was interested in judo before discovering what epilepsy really meant. In the early 1980s I wrote to Zodiac Judokwai to find out about doing judo and I got a reply, part of the reply that concluded "I would like to meet you any Friday evening to discuss training". However, I never got round to do judo and later did athletics. After an accident, I tried badminton to no success and then rambling that sounded friendly and joined rambling. After that, I was able to play badminton but not by joining a club but turning up at the local leisure centre weekly.
