The Red Lion is a traditional, cosy country pub with a real fire and a piano, which customers are welcome to play. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. The accommodation is spotless and very comfortable, the menu is varied and the food excellent and the staff warm and friendly. It is ideally situated if you want to go for rambles or explore further afield and the village of Holmefirth is lovely. I would thoroughly recommend it.
