How different it was from the nice review I read about this site. The proprietor was rude, incredibly bossy and seemed to have no respect at all for us or other guests (unless you were a year-rounder we concluded) You may like the site - If you don't mind waiting 30-40 mins to check in whilst trying to find the proprietor on and around the site only to have no apology or even pleasant welcome. This we noticed happened to a number of guests and how ironic - the leaflet says “a warm welcome awaits you”. As for space well the leaflet and pictures on this web-site show Manor farm to be spacious, however after cramming in caravans and tents with total disregard to fire safety laws it became a different matter. My displeased neighbor had to use the tiny front entrance to his tent as my car prevented any access to the side we were that close. Tent users were tripping over each others guy lines like some poorly arranged festival. If this has not convinced you then read on. My mother and father were booked on the site B&B. They were double booked so had to go elsewhere (leaving us to fend for ourselves on the site). However each time they came to see us for a drink or daily outing, the proprietor insisted that they pay a charge for visiting each time!! – after she double booked them!! And heaven forbid you should play any dangerous games such as badminton anywhere other than the games area because if you do…. .. A shame really as the site and toilets were immaculate.
