our third trip to this family hotel was enhanced by the occasion of our marriage, with reception at the hotel. There are few old-fashioned hoteliers still to be found and fortunately Gordon and Kate Innes are a hard-working example.
good attention to detail
excellent food
small well-priced wine list
charming staff
a sense of decorum and humour at all times
it's really quite hard to leave the place, but then you have an excuse to return.
