Good Points: Friendly welcome and excellent staff performance throughout. Room was clean and comfortable.
Bad Points: Poor decor outwith the main entrance area. Poor in room facilities (TV channels and tea and coffee provision at a minimum level). Little info available regarding the Harrogate area itself. Phone book vandalised and pages removed. Breakfast adequate but not up to an expected standard for cost paid.
General review: There were so many things that just fell short of a good performance in out stay - a great pity because the staff were excellent and the town was a genuine pleasure to visit. A little bit of hard work could make this a great place to stay.
