We loved this place! Me and my partner thought the food was excellent and the service was very friendly and helpful. The wine list was huge so we struggled with what to choose but the waiteress recommended a lovely wine that went really well with the delicious first two courses. We will definitely be back next time we're in Bath!

I just wanted to let you know how much everyone appreciated the work dinner at the Hole in the Wall. The food was superb and the service was excellent. The staff really outdid themselves and a number of the team are already making plans to bring family and friends to Bath in order to experience the fabulous food and friendly staff.

Despite coming highly recommended myself and my partner left highly disappointed. We were served by no less than 4 different waiters, many of the dishes on the menu were not available although this was only mentioned when we were about to order, the dietary requirement I had requested on booking the table had been overlooked, the food was disappointing, we had to send back the main course three times, after paying the bill a waiter chased after us to say we had not been charged enough (they had taken the main course off the final bill) and when I sent a letter to the manager to express my disappointment, I had no response. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone
