We thought Seaham hall was extraordinary. The staff were exceptional in every respect and the food out of this world. The area provides for some good (but bracing) walks and it is easy to visit Durham which is without question one of the UK's finest cities. Highly recommended

to put it simply this place is wonderful. by far and away the best hotel in the north east
