Very Sunny day and had a super lunch here. Moy kids really sit still and there is plenty of safe space outside for them to explore. Food was spot on. Whole place by the river and the pier has a sort of holiday port feel

Blimey was it busy or what - apparently they had 60 (!) on for breakfast and it must have been double that for lunch - at capacity in any event. Staff coped admirably, food arrived in good time and was delicious - standards just dont slip at this place

Terrific sunday lunch today - excellent roast beef, huge yorkshires, couple of glasses of red and the papers. Could be forgiven for thinking that life gets no better than this!

Super spot by a very nice stretch of the river with a lovely conservatory to sit and watch the view. It was quite busy for a monday lunch time and our party enjoyed some excellent fresh pollack and monk fish and some very fresh organic chicken in a morel sauce. Service as good but unobtrusive, indeed we got the impression that they were very happy to let us sit all day. 8/10

have always liked the position of this place and inside its all very pleasant as are the staff. However the food seems to have stayed the same for quite a while now and if I am honest its not getting any better. 6/10 for latest visit
