On a recent visit to England with my daughter we stayed at Rookery Hall. What a delight, nothing could have been improved, the staff were lovley, it was the best accommodation that we had in England. We will highly recommend you to our friends. Thankyou Maureen Bott

Spacious, clean and comforable The food was excellant. Would have liked to be informed about price of breakfast. This was very good but had no idea how much we were paying for it or if continental was priced differenly to cooked breakfast. We could, of course, have asked. We had though no complaints about our stay and it was to us a much needed quick break. All the staff were couteous and helpful.

The hotel is a former country house estate so it feels like being in a movie- except for the weddings! Great atmosphere otherwise. Given the mix of weddings and business/ leisure they cope pretty well. Great breakfast but obscure charging. I only found out my poached egg cost 20 dollars when I checked out! This place had class, based on high cost and ambitious service. It has re-aligned more to the event catering side of the business and that leaves independent vistors slightly stranded. However enthusiastic staff and and genuine hospitality shine through and I thoroughly enjoyed my return to the Cheshire countryside I knew so well in my youth. We will return!
