Carnforth, Lancashire

Review of Carnforth by Sheila Ashcroft on April 28th, 2007
I live and work in Carnforth and it's great! It is a small market town where the folk really are friendly. It's a great place to come for a day out after which you can push on up to the Arnside & Silverdale AONB and the Lakes. Come & take a look at the newly restored Carnforth Station & Visitor Centre (where I am the Manager!) which will amaze you with its fabulous exhibitions and Refreshment Room. Carnforth Station is famous as the setting for David Lean's classic film "Brief Encounter" where you will also see the famous clock. Come & visit us in sunny Carnforth! It's a lovely town in the heart of rural north Lancs which I am sure you will love!
