BOOK BELFAST HOTELS

Belfast Hills, Belfast | County Antrim

Belfast Hills
The Belfast Hills are in Northern Ireland, overlooking the city of Belfast . The hills are thought to have inspired Gulliver’s Travels as they have long been said to resemble a sleeping giant, guarding the city. The peaks of Divis, Cavehill and Black Mountain dominate the hills. Divis is the highest of the Belfast Hills and towers over the city of Belfast. From the peak of Black Mountain on a clear day you can see the entire city as well as views to the Isle of Man , Strangford Lough , the Mournes and the Sperrins , and even the Scottish coast. The mountains have now been handed over to the care of the National Trust .
