for Foxton Locks Festival as your favourite British event.

Organised by Foxton Inclined Plane Trust events include Crafts, Canal societies, fun games, demonstrations, refreshments boat trips and lots more.

Be awestruck by the Viking re-enactment group; indulge yourself in the real ale tent and at the food concessions; gyrate to the live music (including late into the evening on the Saturday); "shop 'til you drop" at over 100 tented craft stalls; reminisce over the historic vehicles; encourage the kids on to the rides and admire the animals in pets corner.

Set alongside the fascinating Foxton Locks you will also have an opportunity to admire a large number of brightly painted boats gracing the canal side and sit in one of the canal-side pubs or cafe to watch the world pass by.

All proceeds from the festival support the charitable trust restoring the marvel of Victorian engineering - the Inclined Plane boat lift - there will be working models, displays and experts on hand to tell you more. Be part of the continued regeneration of this historic site.
