Traditional 4-day family show
01642 527346

Stockton Summer Show has been running, under different guises, since its inception in 1979. It has now developed into a four-day event aimed at general family entertainment. Different daily themes are planned both for the arena and other attractions with Family Fun Friday, Saturday Pets & People Pageant, Wild West Shoot-out Sunday, Medieval Monday ˆ both featuring the world famous Gerard Naprous‚ Devil‚s Horsemen - and lots more additional entertainment is programmed for the full weekend to keep everyone happy. This year we will see a visit by the ever popular Black Knights Royal Artillery Free Fall team Other attractions include stalls, sideshows, fun fair, trade stands & stalls, full food service & bar. Plans for this year also include daily performances from the Festival Circus and Ridgeside Falconry, plus street theatre, horses, and Animal Displays on different days. Given good weather ˆ which we usually manage ˆ attendances can top the 5,000 mark daily, and with admission charges kept deliberately low [ £3.00 & £1.50 + free parking ] it always attracts an appreciative crowd. It fulfils its target of providing a low-cost day out for families at the end of the schools‚ summer break. Having a different programme of events daily, plus the opportunity of buying a discounted weekend family ticket will hopefully encourage a large number of repeat visits. There will also be a FREE Park‚n‚Ride Service from Stockton Centre on Sunday and Monday.
