'Making in May' with Jeanette Sendler: 1940s/1950s Millinery
This one-day workshop will provide an opportunity to explore hats and headpieces using traditional styles and techniques. Study some original pieces from the museum collection and make your own headpiece. Over the day you will gain skills required for blocking and shaping, wiring, draping, lining and trimming. Some hand sewing skills are required.
For adults and young people aged 16+. 5 / 3 concessions. Booking essential. Thurs 20 May 10am-4.30pm
