Europe‚s Biggest Free Jazz Party: Birmingham Jazz Festival Reaches 24 Years! This summer, jazz performers and fans from across the world will be in Birmingham to attend one of the best events of its kind, a combination of jazz, blues, great food, poetry, art, photography, cinema and literature. With ten days of unmissable summer entertainment from July 4th to July 13th, the 24th Birmingham International Jazz Festival has a special ingredient ˆ 90% of the shows are free to the public!

The Jazz Festival presents nearly 200 performances throughout the city centre, the suburbs and other regions in the West Midlands, with musicians coming from as far afield as Canada, France, the Netherlands, Spain, the United States, Hungary, Australia, Germany and Sweden.

This unique event, Europe‚s Biggest Free Jazz Party, takes place through 73 venues, including shops, pubs, clubs, parks, hotels, cafés, museums, cricket grounds, civic buildings, city squares, shopping centres, and even on a canal boat and a train!
