William Turnbull
Born on 11th of January 1922
Born 1922 - Scottish artist.
Studied at Slade School of Art, London. Held first one-man show at Hanover Gallery, London in 1950. Sculptures changed from upright, human figures in the 50s to abstract, geometric figures in the 60s. Focussed on ritual and mystery in the 70s.
