Born 1736. Died 1812 - English radical politician.

Originally John Horne. Educated at Cambridge. Became Vicar of New Brentford. Founded the Constitutional Society which supported American colonists and parliamentary reform. Returned to studying law and received patronage of William Tooke. Imprisoned for supporting American rebels, tried for high treason in 1794 but acquitted. Became MP for Old Sarum in 1801.
