Television presenter appearing on Top of the Pops. Raised money for many worthwhile causes including construction of National Spinal Injuries Centre at Stoke Mandeville. Ran many fund-raising marathons. Host of television series Jimíll Fix It (1975-94). Knighted in 1990.
