Martin Rees
Born on 23rd of June 1942
Born 1942 - English astrophysicist.
Educated at Cambridge. Studied stellar systems and dark matter. Best known work is the study of active galactic nuclei. Elected FRS in 1979, knighted in 1992. Became Astronomer Royal in 1995.
