Born 1913. Died 1980 - English novelist.

Worked at the African Institute in London (1958-74). Published three novels in the 1950s including A Glass of Blessings (1958). Quartet in Autumn was published in 1977 followed by The Sweet Dove Died in 1979. A further four novels were published posthumously.
