Born 1950 Clarence House - British princess and only daughter of Queen Elizabeth II.
The only daughter of Queen Elizabeth II, she is ninth in line to the throne. Although most famous for her charitable work, she is also a renowned horsewoman, winning the individual title at the European Eventing Championship at the age of 21, and subsequently voted BBC’s Sports Personality of the Year (her daughter Zara Phillips won the same award 35 years later). She competed in the Olympic Games in 1976, riding the Queen’s horse Goodwill.
