Nee Devlin. Educated at Queen’s University, Belfast. Became youngest MP in House of Commons since William Pitt the Younger. Arrested leading Catholics rioters in Bogside, Belfast and imprisoned. Actively supported IRA hunger strikers in 1981. Recovered from attempted assassination. Co-founded Irish Republican Socialist Party in 1975.
