Dan Snow followed in his father Peter’s footsteps by studying at Balliol (he rowed for Oxford in the Boat Race three times), and then entering a career in television, his first two projects in that field co-presented with his dad. He has since gone on to present numerous other programmes, generally with a historical or adventure theme.
