Ed Miliband
- Favourite Briton.

London
Born on 24th of December 1969
Died in 000
British hero of the week September 27th 2010

Ed Miliband was brought up in a political household, studied politics and economics at Oxford, the LSE and Harvard, and then held positions briefly in (political) television, as a political researcher, speechwriter and special advisor, and then became an MP, like so many of his contemporaries effectively never having worked outside the profession of politics. He held various ministerial positions under Gordon Brown, and when the latter resigned after the 2010 election defeat Ed beat his brother David in the Labour Leadership contest. His performance in the 2015 general election campaign failed to inspire voters, making an Eton-educated millionaire somehow look more connected to the general public. He resigned the Labour leadership following Labour’s defeat.
