Fearne Cotton, originally Fearne Wood, is a member of the Cotton dynasty that included bandleader Billy and BBC chief Bill. Her career in TV began as a teenager on The Disney Club, and has since taken in shows like Smile, Love Island (an intellectual tour de force), The Xtra Factor (contemporary TV at its most creative), and Make Me a Supermodel (equally unmissable). Cotton is most famous, however, for her work for many years on Radio 1, presenting the chart show and her own mid-morning programme.
