Born 1956 - English comedian and writer.
Studied at Emmanuel College, Cambridge. Member of Cambridge Footlights. Known for his appearances as a panel member on the BBC comedy sports quiz They Think It's All Over. Co-founder of the independent British TV production company Hat Trick Productions, left in 1992. Appeared on the TV quiz show, QI. His first book, Bearded Tit - Confessions of a Birdwatcher is due for publication in 2008.
