Rosamund Lehmann
- Favourite Briton.

Born in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire
Born on 4th of February 1901
Died on 12th of March 1990

Rosamund Lehmann was a member of an artistic dynasty, her generation of that line particularly talented. She published her first novel (Dusty Answer) in 1927, and her last (A Sea-Grape Tree) in 1970, her style marked by a light touch and the ability to produce well rounded and believable women characters. Lehmann also wrote short stories and a play, and in 1967 her autobiography. A belief in spiritualism that she came to late in life saw her become a prominent figure in that movement.
