Born 1946 - Theatrical producer.
Has first big success in the West End with his production of the musical Cats. Subsequent successful musicals included Miss Saigon, The Phantom of the Opera, Five Guys Named Moe, and Martin Guerre. Produced revivals of revivals of Oklahoma!, My Fair Lady, and Carousel at the National Theatre.
