Born 1958 - English comic actor.
An English comedian, he made his debut on New Faces (1975), and went on to appear in Tiswas (1979-82), Three of a Kind (1981, 1983) and Chef (1992). He is the leading figure in the charity Comic Relief, and is married to comedienne Dawn French.Born 1958 - English comedian and entertainer.
Appeared on the New Faces talent show in 1975. co-hosted the children's programme Tiswas, performed and wrote for the show Three of a Kind. Moved to the alternative comedy scene where he established a career as a stand-up comedy performer and character comedian. Has appeared in a number of television shows including The Lenny Henry Show, Chef! and Hope and Glory.
