Real name – Frank Abelson. His career began during the late 1940s in variety theatre. In 1955 he recorded the song that became his trademark Give Me The Moonlight. Donated generously to the National Association Of Boys Clubs, awarded an OBE. Appeared in several movies including 'Let's Make Love (1960) with Marilyn Monroe.
