Jimmy Young
Born on 21st of September 1921
Born 1921 – Disc jockey and radio broadcaster.
Had a number of successful hit records including Too Young (1951), Unchained Melody (1955) and The Man from Laramie (1955). Joined the BBC as one of the first disc jockeys on BBC Radio 1. Retired from broadcasting in 2002. Knighted in 2001.
