Born 1954 - English singer-songwriter.
Stage name of self-taught songwriter Declan McManus. First album in 1976 was My Aim is True. Recorded almost exclusively (1977-85) with his band The Attractions. Also performed as a solo artist. In 1992 he began his collaboration with The Brodsky Quartet. Worked with The Specials and The Pogues as record producer. Continues to work with both contemporary and classical musicians.
