Born on 30th of July 1940
Born 1940 - English electronic engineer and inventor.
Educated in Guildford and Reading. Established electronics research and manufacturing company. Developed range of calculators, miniature television sets and personal computers. Built small three-wheeled vehicle which failed. Knighted in 1983, won Royal Society award in 1984.
