Childer Thornton is to be found on the Wirral Peninsula in the North West of England, it is surrounded by rural countryside and yet is only minutes by car from the M53 motorway linking Chester with Liverpool and from this motorway you can quickly join the national motorway network. There is no railway station at Childer Thornton but not too far away is the station at Hooton and with Liverpool John Lennon Airport around five miles away commuting is rarely a problem. The attraction of Childer Thornton is that it is in the countryside, that you are surrounded by fields and it is relatively easily accessible. The towns of Whitby and Eastham are close by as is Ellesmere Port yet Childer Thornton never feels isolated. Just minutes away from Childer Thornton is the Cheshire Oaks Retail Park which offers a range of eating and retail stores although for those wishing to a more well established public house then Childer Thornton boasts its own former coaching stop which has been in use since the 1770’s for weary travellers between Chester and New Ferry.
