North Waltham Oyster Festival has become an annual event. Complementing the fish stand's professional demonstrations, oysters and champagne are local stalls showing what our village offers. When the drum and pipe band sets off from the pond, villagers know it's time to go for the afternoon treats, and it's become so popular that a large free car park is provided attracting people from all over, including some spotting the event from the M3! Entry is free, the food and drink reasonably priced, but the Oyster Festival still makes plenty for a deserving charity and village activities. Join us on Saturday, 24 April 2010.
