Myself and my husband visited the town of Southend for a weekend to visit family and found this bnb ,which we found to be lovely and affordable.We stayed in the room with an en suite although it did not have a bath we was offered the bathroom upstairs if we required this aswell.It had all the requirements we desired and the family that welcomed us created a lovely time here. i would recommend this to any one for a short break away.

Had booked this accommodation in good faith. Upon arrival it was pretty clear the accommodation wasnt up to standard. The website states 'shower in room' we assumed this meant shower only not a full en-suite, it actually means that the shower is in the bedroom with clear glass, bearing in mind this was a four bedded room who wants to take a shower with an audience? I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and will be logging a complaint to Trading Standards for misleading information. Proprietor had already taken payment before our arrival and would not give a refund.
