Having initially visited Bright Smile on an emergency basis, and despite no longer residing in the area, they remain my dentist of preference. This is primarily based on the fact that the practice is both extremely professionally operated and that the reception and dental staff are friendly, reliable and a pleasure to deal with. Owing to the diverse nature of treatment required, Dr. Elkary's recommendations concerning referrals to endodonists for more specialised work, as well as performing root canal work himself, have always ensured that I need not look for another dentist more locally based. Furthermore, I would concur with the comments of Jan Brown concerning those of Alison Smaer and would question whether Ms Smaer is referring to the same dental pracice.

I've been in twice. Once to make an appointment and once to go to my appointment. Reception staff were extremely rude both times and spoke to me as if I was a 3 year old child. As I was filling forms in, the dentsit came down and she seemed like a very nice person. I'm not going back there, just because I didn't feel welcome at all by reception staff!

I visited brightsmile after the practice was recommended by a friend who has been a patient at the practice since 2005. I am pleased to report that the whole experience was delightful. The Reception staff were very patient with me as I chopped and changed my appointment and my dentist is very warm and caring and was genuinly interested about my wellbeing. I have had all my amalgam fillings replaced with white fillings and the white fillings on three front teeth were treated under the NHS whilst the remaining white fillings were charged privately and very reasonably priced. I am very pleased with brightsmile and would rate them 9/10. My only critism is that they are not open on Saturdays.. Sandra

Although the work they do here is good value for money, I do feel like better care could be taken. I had a white filling put in only for it to dislodge and lead to me needing root canal surgery which was very expensive!! I only had the filling for a year so was a bit annoyed at the result.I'm also sure that one of my teeth got chipped during the process. Not sure if I would recommend the dentist that I was treated by.

I went to brightsmile after deferring my dental visit for 10 years being an extremely nervous patient. However, after my visit, my nerves, my anxiety, all the negative emotions have just flown out of the window! I had all the treatment in the practice without being referred anywhere - the dentist and the nurse were very patient and kind to me, made me feel so much at ease. I would definately recommend this practice to anyone who is looking for a caring and good dentist. It can be hard to find this in an NHS dentist these days, but I have found it and am never going back to my old dentist!! Have a lovely christams and New Year to all brightsmile staff and I will see you at my next visit! For the first time in my life of 26years, Ican say I would love to go back and have a Dental Checkup.. and thats saying something for a person like me! Paula

My Husband and I attended brightsmile NHS dental practice at Kingston having left our existing Private Dental practice that we have been attending for the past 8 years due to a change in our personal circumstances. We are so pleased with the the whole experience and we have been left wondering why we did not make the jump earlier. I have had a 4 unit bridge fitted at an NHS cost of only £198 -I had previously paid £800 from our previous pribvate dentist and it only lasted 1.5years and so was out-of-warrenty and my dentist had said that I would need to pay about £800 to get this replaced as the 1 year warranty had expired. A definte thumbs up from us.. Julie Hall

Its all smiles for me after visiting brightsmile.. I just want to say that I have been with brightsmile dental care in Kingston for the past 3 years and have seen Dr. Subu during this time and am delighted with the whole experience. A smooth, trouble free process and on one occasion when Dr. Subu was not available to see me, I was referred to Dr. Tara and again a delightful dentist. The staff are always cheerful and the treatment is painless.. I would highly recommend the the practice.. Jennie

I was extremely surprised to see this adverse review by Alison Smaer and was wondering if they are commenting on the same practice that we attend at 17, Penrhyn Road, Kingston. My Husband and I have been attending there since it's opening in 2006 and quite frankly we are so grateful for their existence. The practice is far from shoddy, its is warm and welcoming and we feel that we have entered a private clinic. I have had a referral for a extraction under Sedation and this was executed efficiently and without any problem. My husband has had fillings and they have not fallen out! The dentists are very warm, kind and pleasant and to be honest unlike most people, I look forward to seeing my dentist.. We certainly will not be going to see a Private dentist and shall remain firmly on the books of brightsmile! Jan

Both my husband and I visit two different dentists here and I'd just like to say that although the receptionists are pleasant enough the treatment appears to be quite shoddy. My husband has waited for an extraction for five months due to his dentist having not sent the referral letter off and not really being bothered. Also he has had fillings which have subsequently fallen out. I have had an abscess which I'm sure could have been avoided if they cleaned them properly, which I'm sure is what I pay for. I feel they do the minimum amount of work and are just 'rip off' merchants! In fact I am considering going private again as before. I am totally disatisfied with this practice.

I've seen two dentists at this practice. Both times, I've been able to get appointments within a day of calling. The service has been impeccable- highly efficient professionals who more than put me at ease about my treatment (full explainations of what they were doing at all times, I felt very much in control of the process). The speed of their work (and indeed the whole practice experience) meant that any dental problems I have had for the past two years have been sorted out within a week of them first arising. Referrals are unproblematic for them too. Friendly receptionists who took time to change appointment details, and a simple, quick registration process.
