The beef was still bleeding which I understand some people like so the cook was kind enough to cut two slices off to brown under the grill. When the meat came out of the kitchen I asked if I could also have some turkey, the chef then removed a slice of beef from my plate stating "I can only give you two slices".
All in all this was the worst pub meal that I have ever had and would recommend that anyone looking for a Sunday meal should look at other places.

Foods been fine. Suggesting an alternative where if the food is cold and you complain you are asked to never come back.........."I rest my case"

A friend and I have just suffered the worst service we have ever experienced in fourty years of eating out. The waitress hassled us to order quickly, then hurried us to our table where we were served children's size portions. When we raised the matter with the landlord all we got was a wooden 'sorry'. And all this with the dining room less than half full. So we left and went to the nearby and forever welcoming Trowel and Hammer. Which is where I suggest you go as a far nicer alternative.
