Awful! Apart from the young lady serving us whom was lovely, all the other staff were rude!! Lovely selection of food (carvary) but a shame it was cold! The bar man was very rude too. Not welcoming at all and will never return or recommend!!

My wife and I had not long got off a plane at Birmingham and we were starving. This was on the way home. It was like being in ' Little Britain'. We managed after some time to get drinks. After some time I enquired as to when our food order would would be taken. I was peremptorily answered that orders were taken in order. I couldn't make out whether the order was not taken until the previous order was served but that is how it seemed. We didn't finish our drinks, but paid for them and left. We went to a chippy and got fish and chips each.My advice, avoid this place. If the decoration (dark) does not make you suicidal the service will.Next time we shall make certain that we have 15 minute ready meals in the freezer.

Fab food spoiled by the very abrasive, argumentative and downright rude, member of staff. For this reason alone I would not recommend this pub.

myself and my husband stopped of to have a meal everything was fine the service and staff were really friendly my husband had a t bone steak and i had steak and ribs my husband meal was really nice but when i tried my steak it tasted vile i asked my husband to try this he said dont eat it thats off so i did not want to make a fuss as the place was fairly busy i told the waitress she came back after speaking to the manageress and said her boss said all steaks were fresh yestereday and that was that in fairness to the lady behind the bar gave me a free cup of coffee after paying 13 pounds each for a meal and being ignored as much to say i was not telling the truth being dismissed like this to me is very bad customer service as we eat out on a regular basis i will not reccommend this place to any of my friends and will not be eating there again which to me this is a shame as my husband did have a nice meal if the manageress of this establishment thinks she can treat her customers in this manner in this day and age when people are struggling for bussiness she is very wrong

The camping field is ideal, it’s small and basic and although you’re close to a main road you can be a million miles away. Most of the staff how ever, were more determined in finding ways to get us off site before we had even put up tents. The management were rude, and unwelcoming. We were told that the toilets and wash room would be available all night, and it closed with the pub leaving a number of the shyer girls with us in a bit of trouble, there was no running water on the field. To top it all off we were confronted by a man with two big dogs, asking us to keep the noise down, there wasn’t any noise! Even with all this, we still managed to have a good night.
